What are 'Brain Games'?

Brain games are private tutoring lessons designed to expand the mind of a young student by revisiting prior knowledge. Realistically, we can only absorb new information if we fully comprehend what we have already learned. Brain games engages students by beginning where they are, and designing a curriculum from there.

How can 'Brain Games' be applied at home?

Every session, your brain game teacher will advise you with 'take home techniques' based on what they feel your child needs help with the most. In addition, you will receive brain games to take home.

What is the age limit for 'Brain Games'?

We work with children from the ages of 2-8.

I feel that my child is falling behind, will Brain Games help?

Brain Games allow all students to keep pace at their own level. With your help, we will discuss and evaluate what your child needs the most help with. Brain Games will help by meeting them where they are, and pushing them one step further.

Are there resources or workbooks?

We provide expertly designed activities for all students.

Where are these sessions taking place?

We can go to your home or discuss an appropriate location that suits us both. We primarily serve Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn areas. If a destination is too far, we will let you know ahead of time that we cannot accommodate that location.

*Due to COVID-19, most of our sessions are done virtually.

"Karina has been involved in my son’s academic development for almost three years. Not only was Karina my son's teacher, but we also chose her to be his GnT test prep tutor.
